Earlier this year, Quilts for the Valiant representatives Lynn Caroll and Brenda George presented a handmade quilt to Ray Belanger, Resident Manager for Veterans House Victoria and retired Veteran. The quilt was created by Brenda, who made additional quilts for some of the military members living in Veterans House Victoria.

Veterans House Victoria provides supportive, transitional housing to Veterans experiencing homelessness or near-homelessness. Through peer support, Veterans are connected with services that provide Veteran-specific assistance.

Quilts for the Valiant is committed to recognizing injured members of the Canadian Armed Forces, past and present, for their service to our country. They provide quilts to any first responders in need across Vancouver Island.
