In November 2025, Finning Canada contributed a generous $6,500 donation to support Veterans transitioning from homelessness into stable housing. Their investment directly strengthens our ability to provide essential household items and practical supports that help set Veterans up for long-term success.

During a visit to thank the Finning team and share more about how the Legion BC & Yukon Foundation supports Veterans, a conversation sparked an even greater opportunity. It was noted that access to warehouse space would allow us to assemble multiple Apartment Kits at once — something that can be challenging without sufficient space.

In early January 2026, the Finning team stepped up once again.

Not only did they provide much-needed warehouse space, but their employees also volunteered their time to pack 40 fully equipped Apartment Kits. This hands-on effort transformed generosity into immediate action. Each kit represents more than household goods — it represents dignity, stability, and a fresh start for a Veteran moving into a new home.

Corporate partnerships like this demonstrate what is possible when community-minded organizations come together in support of those who have served our country. Financial contributions provide critical resources, and volunteer engagement brings heart and momentum to the work.
