Last month, 15 Apartment Kits were delivered to Legion Veterans Village. Apartment Kits are part of the Legion Foundation’s Leave the Streets Behind program and include home, kitchen, and cleaning supplies— essential items for Veterans experiencing homelessness and in the process of moving into a transitional space or their forever home.

These Apartment Kits were supported by Vancouver Resource Society, and atop each package was a small card from the Sparks and Embers of the Clover Valley Girl Guides thanking the Veterans for their service. The delivery was made by Legion Foundation’s Executive Director and Program Coordinator, Amber Stewart and Maria Serna.
