We are incredibly grateful to PharmaSave Cloverdale for their generous donation of Comfort Bag supplies in support of the Leave the Streets Behind program operated by the Legion BC/Yukon Foundation.

Through their community-led initiative, Warmth for Warriors, the team at PharmaSave Cloverdale collected dozens of new toques, gloves, and hand warmers. These essential cold-weather items will be placed into Comfort Bags and distributed to Veterans experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity across British Columbia.

The Leave the Streets Behind program is a national Royal Canadian Legion initiative designed to support Veterans who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. In the BC/Yukon Command area, the Legion BC/Yukon Foundation delivers this program by providing practical supports such as Comfort Bags, Apartment Kits, and emergency assistance while Veterans work toward stable housing.

Comfort Bags play a critical role in this work. Packed with essential items, they provide immediate relief, dignity, and reassurance to Veterans during times of crisis. Donations like those from PharmaSave Cloverdale directly strengthen our ability to reach Veterans in need and respond quickly when support is most urgently required.
