Since 1997, the Legion Foundation BC/Yukon has awarded thousands of dollars in grants to local organizations. Our annual grant program was placed on hold in 2023 while the “Leave the Streets Behind” program was launched. However, grants were awarded to the following projects that specifically benefit Veterans:

• BC Adaptive Snowsports for their “Shoulder 2 Shoulder” retreats – a snow therapy program for ill or injured Veterans and their support person
  • $2500
• Legion Manor Victoria to install a heat pump for one suite to provide air conditioning for a Veteran
  • $5300
• Honour House for their Veterans Artist Collective program, leveraging art to help Veterans deal with anxiety, depression and trauma
  • $6400
