2025 Grants Announced
Since 1997, the Legion Foundation BC/Yukon has awarded thousands of dollars in grants to local organizations. This year, we are pleased to announce that the following organizations have been provided with the following grants:
- Quilts for the Valiant – Quilts for Veterans program – $3,000
- Canadian Veteran Services Society – Veterans Food Banks of BC program – $10,000
- Broadmead Care Society – Veterans Memorial Lodge Therapeutic Mattress Replacement Program – $5,000
- Honour House Society – Veterans Artist Collective – $5,000
- Victoria Brain Injury Society – Peer Support program – $2,000
- Crisis Intervention & Suicide Prevention Centre of BC – Essential Suicide Prevention Skills for Veterans: safeTALK & ASIST Training programs – $2,500
In addition to the grants awarded through our annual application process, we also are pleased to announce the following funding to our program partners in 2025:
- Veterans Transition Network – Small group, peer-supported Veteran mental health supports – $180,000
- Pacific Assistance Dogs Society – ADI Accredited OSSI/PTSD program – $54,000
- BC & Alberta Guide Dogs – ADI Accredited OSSI/PTSD program – $110,000
- BCIT Military Skills Conversion Program – $39,000
