Can I donate to my local branch and still receive a tax receipt?

Unfortunately, no. Local Legion branches are separate entities from the Legion Foundation BC/Yukon and in most cases, are not registered charities. The Legion Foundation BC/Yukon is unable to accept funds designated for Legion branches. If you wish to donate directly to your local branch, please contact them directly.

I donated to the Military Service Recognition Book. Can I receive a tax receipt?

The Military Service Recognition Book is published each year by the Legion Command BC/Yukon. The book publisher, Fenety Marketing, conducts a telephone appeal, often asking for pledges, to raise funds in support of this initiative. In both cases, these organizations are separate from the Legion Foundation and should be contacted directly for more information.
